Code of Conduct & Consent Policy

At Nordic — Social Stars, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and safe environment for everyone. We believe in celebrating music, dance, and connection while ensuring that all participants — regardless of nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or ability — feel welcome and respected. The safety and well-being of our community is our highest priority.
Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all participants, including but not limited to attendees, artists, DJs, volunteers, staff, and partners at all Nordic — Social Stars events. This Code of Conduct is publicly shared with all artists and staff, and displayed at the event venue.
We ask all participants to read, understand, and respect this policy throughout the event.
Key Definitions
Assault: Physical or verbal attacks, threats of harm, or any behavior that causes someone to fear immediate danger.
Bullying: Repeated use of force, threats, or intimidation to harm, control, or manipulate others.
Consent: Clear and voluntary agreement to engage in any activity, including dancing, conversations, or physical contact.
Discrimination: Unjust treatment based on personal characteristics such as race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, or disability.
Harassment: Unwanted physical, verbal, or non-verbal behavior that offends, humiliates, or intimidates another person.
Unacceptable Behaviors
The following behaviors are not tolerated at Nordic — Social Stars:
- Bullying or intimidation
- Harassment of any kind
- Discrimination or exclusion
- Inappropriate or non-consensual touch
- Verbal, physical, or sexual assault
- Any form of non-consensual action
Culture of Trust, Respect, and Consent
We aim to build a festival environment based on trust, respect, communication, and consent. Whether on or off the dance floor:
- Every action must be consensual.
- Everyone has the right to say no or withdraw consent at any time.
- Respect personal space, boundaries, and individual choices.
- Open communication is encouraged — raise any concerns to our team without hesitation.
If you experience or witness any behavior that makes you uncomfortable, please report it to our team. All reports will be handled confidentially and without bias.
Reporting and Consequences
All reports of misconduct will be taken seriously. Our team will assess each situation and apply appropriate actions, which may include but are not limited to:
- Verbal warnings
- Written warnings
- Immediate removal from the event without refund
- Notification of local authorities, if necessary
All reports are treated with discretion and confidentiality. Our goal is to protect the well-being of everyone while ensuring fair handling of all cases.
